The Countdown block allows you to include countdown timers on your pages. It offers two types of timers:
DateTime Countdown
This timer can be used to express a sense of anticipation. You can display the amount of time in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
You can use this countdown to announce special offers or events on a specific day and display the amount of time until they begin. If you are planning an offer for any of the upcoming events such as Black Friday, you can use a DateTime Countdown timer.
Visitor Timer (Evergreen)
This timer can be used to express a sense of urgency and displays the time in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
You can use it to promote some limited-time offers on your website and encourage visitors to take advantage of them before they expire. This countdown timer installs cookies on the visitor’s computer to make the offer appear limited and exclusive, and all of your visitors will experience the same countdown time frame that you specify.
Action To Take On Expires
The DateTime Countdown and Visitor Timer both include a Action To Take On Expires option that will be activated once their timer expires. There are two types of actions available:
Show Message: shown a custom message once the timers expire.
Redirect: use this option to redirect page visitors to a different URL once the timer has expired.
Additional Settings:
There are predefined templates that you can find on the Templates tab.
