If you are unable to save changes in the SeedProd editor and have Wordfence installed on your site, the Wordfence Web Application Firewall (WAF) is likely blocking the save request as a false positive. The firewall can mistake SeedProd’s save requests for known attack patterns and reject them before they reach WordPress.
How to Fix It: Enable Wordfence Learning Mode
Wordfence’s Learning Mode allows the firewall to observe your site’s normal traffic patterns and automatically add legitimate actions — like saving pages in SeedProd — to the allowlist. Follow these steps to enable it:
- In your WordPress admin, go to Wordfence > Firewall.
- At the top of the Firewall page, locate the Web Application Firewall Status dropdown.
- Change the status from Enabled and Protecting to Learning Mode.
- Click Save Changes.
- Return to the SeedProd editor and save the page you were working on. Wordfence will observe the save request and add it to the allowlist.
- Once you have successfully saved your SeedProd page, go back to Wordfence > Firewall and switch the WAF status back to Enabled and Protecting.
If Learning Mode Does Not Resolve the Issue
If enabling Learning Mode does not allow SeedProd to save correctly, the block may be originating from a different firewall rule or a server-side configuration. Follow the steps in the general Cannot Save Changes in SeedProd guide to continue diagnosing the problem.
For more detail on how Wordfence Learning Mode works, see the Wordfence Learning Mode documentation.
Once Learning Mode has processed your SeedProd save request and the allowlist is updated, Wordfence and SeedProd should work together without further conflicts. If you continue to have trouble, contact the SeedProd support team with details of the steps you have already tried.
