How to Set Up a Coming Soon Page

A Coming Soon page lets you work on your website in private while displaying a placeholder page to visitors. When Coming Soon Mode is active, logged-in users see the regular site while visitors see your Coming Soon page.

Note: Coming Soon pages are accessible to search engines by default. To prevent indexing, enable No Index in the page’s SEO settings, or add the appropriate directives to your robots.txt file via Settings > General in WordPress.

Step 1: Open the Coming Soon Page Setup

In your WordPress admin, go to the SeedProd Dashboard and click the Set Up a Coming Soon Page button next to the Coming Soon Mode toggle.

Step 2: Choose a Template

Browse the available Coming Soon page templates and click one to import it. You can also choose a blank template to start from scratch.

Step 3: Design Your Coming Soon Page

Customize your Coming Soon page in the SeedProd drag-and-drop builder. Add your branding, a countdown timer, an email opt-in form, or any other blocks you need. When you are satisfied with the design, click Save.

Step 4: Activate Coming Soon Mode

Return to the SeedProd Dashboard and toggle the Coming Soon Mode switch to the active position. Your Coming Soon page will immediately go live for all visitors who are not logged in to WordPress.

Your Coming Soon page is now live. You can continue building your site in private — logged-in users will see the regular website while visitors see the Coming Soon page. To deactivate it when your site is ready to launch, return to the SeedProd Dashboard and toggle Coming Soon Mode off.
