The Additional Information block allows you to display product attribute data from WooCommerce on your Single Product Templates. This block automatically extracts and shows information from the Additional Attributes section of each product, presenting specifications like dimensions, weight, color, material, and other custom attributes in an organized table format.
This block is essential for Single Product Templates where you want to showcase detailed product specifications and attributes in a clean, professional layout. It helps customers make informed purchasing decisions by providing all the technical details and specifications they need at a glance.
Adding the Additional Information Block to Your Pages
Follow these steps to add an Additional Information block to your SeedProd Single Product Template:
Step 1: Add the Block
Under Design > Blocks > WooCommerce Template Tags, drag and drop the Additional Information block into the desired section of your Single Product Template.
The Additional Information block is located under WooCommerce Template Tags and can be added to your Single Product Template.
Step 2: Configure Content Settings
Once added, click on the Additional Information block to open its settings. In the Content tab, you can customize how the product attributes are displayed.
- Header: Enter or edit the heading text that appears above the product attributes table (e.g., “Additional Information” or “Product Specifications”)
- Header Typography: Customize the font properties for the section header, including font family, size, weight, and style
- Header Color: Set the color for the header text to match your design
- Typography: Control the font properties for the attribute labels and values in the table, including font family, size, weight, and style
- Text Color: Choose the color for the attribute text to ensure good readability
The Content tab allows you to customize the header text, typography, and colors for the product attributes display.
Step 3: Customize the Design
In the Advanced tab, you can customize the visual appearance of your Additional Information block:
Spacing:
- Margin: Control the outer spacing around your Additional Information block (Top, Right, Bottom, Left). This determines how much space appears between the block and surrounding elements
- Padding: Adjust the inner spacing within your Additional Information block (Top, Right, Bottom, Left). This creates breathing room between the content and the block edges
Attributes:
- CSS ID: Displays the auto-generated unique identifier for your Additional Information block. This ID is created automatically by SeedProd for custom styling or JavaScript targeting
- Custom Class: Add custom CSS classes to apply specific styles from your theme or custom CSS
- Custom Attributes: Add any HTML attributes to the block wrapper element. Enter each attribute on a new line using the format: attribute-name|value (e.g., data-product-info|attributes)
Device Visibility:
- Hide on Desktop: Hide the Additional Information block on desktop screens
- Hide on Tablet: Hide the Additional Information block on tablet devices
- Hide on Mobile: Hide the Additional Information block on mobile devices
Animation Effects:
- Entrance Animation: Choose from various animation effects that play when the Additional Information block scrolls into view. Options include Bounce, Fade In, Zoom In, Rotate In, and many more. This draws attention to your product specifications
The Advanced tab provides options for spacing, custom attributes, device visibility, and entrance animations.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Once you have finished configuring the Additional Information block and customizing its appearance, make sure to save your work.
